1. What is happening to the beaches and coastlines of Southern New England from SLR?

2. Is this issue limited to Rhode Island and Massachusetts, or have other areas of New England experienced similar problems?

3. How/have officials attempted to mitigate the SLR?

4. Is this regarded as a federal, state, or local issue?


5. The overlying variable regarding New England coastal erosion seems to be climate change; is anything else adding to this encroaching ocean that is causing the coastal erosion?

6. How quickly is this all happening? Or in other words, how fast is the SLR happening?

7. Has anything been done to protect New England homes situated near coasts where SLR is present?
